Lisa Levine

Lisa Nelson Levine is a visionary optimist and a playful business woman. She is a devotee of the Divine Mother. She is a clown and a queen. She is a Clown Queen. She’s an artist, an acupuncturist, a healer and the founder of Maha Rose Center for Healing. Through reiki, laughter, meditation and play, she helps people to discover more joy, creativity and freedom.

Lisa has led group laughter sessions at The New School for Social Research, The Rubin Museum, The New Museum, Google and William Patterson College in New Jersey as well as regularly at Maha Rose Center for Healing in Brooklyn. She’s been teaching laughter since 2010.

Kanoa

KANOA (she/they) completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan’s prestigious musical theatre program and has been seen on national and international stages and screens since.

Kanoa’s extensive training allows her to become like glass, inviting viewers into her intimate inner world of specificity and nuance. Using her almost four-octave range, Kanoa bends notes and soars through phrases to embody truths far beyond the page.

Kanoa is a budding interdisciplinary artist, weaving video, visual art, imagery, spoken word, poetry and music into tapestried, emotional landscapes. Her work is particularly interested in how the micro of personal healing leads to the transformative healing of the collective. She encourages movement from the mind to heart-led spaces of connection.
