Lighten Your Load:
Somatics & Grief Journaling

with Tanya Everett & Zoë Kosovic
Saturday, January 25th
6:30-8:30pm
Maha Rose Brooklyn

We invite you to begin the year lighter, more energized, and more tender!
May 2025 be filled with light.

But how do we access this lightness?

As life is a process of constant change, grief is ever-present. Left unprocessed, it can become stagnant and heavy — it can feel like a weight you’re dragging around, a tightness in the throat, chest, and belly. It can manifest as overwhelm and panic. It can turn into a block that feels impenetrable.

We invite you to turn toward your grief — love it up, feel it through, and let it transform into energy that enriches your life, rather than depleting your energy. Together, we’ll experiment with tools to process grief through the body as well as through journaling to integrate grief as fuel rather than weight.

Grief work is never convenient and it’s always worthwhile. We look forward to welcoming you into a playful space of experimentation that shifts your relationship with grief entirely.
