Celebrating all the Mothers

come with your mother

or come alone

come with your mother wound

come and be your own mother

come and laugh

come and receive

come and rejuvenate

with laughter and sound healing

When we laugh the body releases endorphins; elevating our mood, relaxing our bodies and strengthening our minds.  When we feel stressed our body releases adrenaline and cortisol; stress chemicals that cause imbalance and disease in the body. The good news, and the magic behind laughter yoga is that our brains don't know the difference between fake laughter and real laughter. Ha ha ha. In these practices we use playful exercises, games and fake laughter that often turns into real laughter. But whether it does or not is not important. Through the practice of "faking" or truly laughing we enjoy the physical benefits of increased blood circulation, oxygenation and immune enhancement. Laughter relieves stress, eases fear and anxiety, increases creativity, alertness and memory, uplifts the mood and increases strength and resilience in challenging times.

First we will laugh wth Lisa then we will lay down to receive sound healing with Lavender.

Lavender will guide participants through brief & simple breathing, toning and gentle movement exercises before inviting everyone to close their eyes, lie down and enjoy a healing concert ("sound bath") featuring gong & singing bowl playing.

Sound baths are often referred to as a fabulous introduction to meditation, but can also support those who have meditated for years. Let Lavender’s playing guide you in this enriching mind and body sonic experience.

No previous meditation experience is necessary.

Come with an open heart and mind. And get ready to get happy.
